EXCLUSIVE SPORTS: Chelsea make first winter signing of Pulisic

Chelsea has reportedly made their first winter signing of Christain Pulisic of Borussia Dortmund around 58 million pounds but the forward remains with Bundesliga leaders for the rest of the season.

The 20-year-old America international who has 23 capped to his name in international football since making debut with the senior national team in 2016, has become the dethroned Premier League Champions third most expensive signing in the club history after the 71 million pounds of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and 60 million pounds deal of Alvaro Morata two season ago.
Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia told the club website to confirm the news: "We are delighted to have signed one Europe's most sought players.
"Christain has shown his quality during a fantastic spell in Germany and at just 20, we believe he has the potential to become an important Chelsea player for many years to come.
"We look forward to welcoming him to Stamford Bridge in the summer and wish him and Dortmund every success for the remainder of the season.
Pulisic added: "In summer i move on to Chelsea and to new competition, the English Premier League. It's a privilege to have signed for such a legendary club and i look forward to working hard towards being a contributor to their team of the world-class players.
The signing comes as Maurizio Sarri third major signing since replacing fellow Italian countryman Antonio Conte, with Kepa and Jorginho arriving at the start of this current campaign.
